Smooth and light, but 1 or 2 caveats
I like this mouse quite a bit. I use on on a desktop system. It is larger than the Logitech M305 small mouse, but not as large as a full size mouse. My hands are not large, and I use the mouse with my left hand. My 5th digit cannot fit on the mouse, and the concave part for a right-hander's thumb is a bit weird for the ring finger. I find myself using my middle finger instead of the index finger for the right button. So it doesn't quite fit a left hand well.

This wireless mouse is nothing fancy, but its a good value and reliable. We probably have about a dozen of these installed around our office, and Ive only had one or two break over years of use. Really good battery life too, even with most people never turning it off.

Had a Logitech mouse that wouldn't work correctly for AutoCad or the Cities; Skylines game. This Microsoft mouse works perfectly. It's small, portable and the sensor works on more surfaces than the Logitech.

My first experience with totally wireless mouse; nice to not have wires. Dont forget to switch it off after use to save battery power. As I use this almost daily will see if it really only needs a battery (1 AA) twice a year. Still prefer using a mouse over keyboard finger pad...or whatever that black rectangle is called that moves the cursor around; am near 75 and was young adult in the very early days of computer technology.
