Having always been a soap and razor kind of guy, I was pleasantly surprised by this unit.It provides a clean, close shave in the shower since it is waterproof. It is lightweight and super easy to clear as the head pops up so you can rinse it out.

It is a completely different design. It does the job, but having to take the blades out to clean, that is a bad idea. I am nervous about dropping one down the drain, or not putting them back properly. I prefer the old way by holding the head under running water to rinse the blades clean.

My 11 year old Norelco was showing signs of wear in the base that held the blade assembly so I decided to replace. I topped off the charge of the 5300 & found it shaved close, comfortably, without irritation & easily traced all my facial nooks & crannies.

This is a powerful shaver that gives a very close, comfortable shave. The contour heads work particularly well. I have sensitive skin, and this shaver worked great for that also. It charges quickly, and comes with a handy cover to keep the heads protected when not in use.
